OWSLA PRESENTS FREE TREATS VOL. 2

On March 13, OWSLA, the record label for many of today’s biggest and most progressive names (Skrillex, Zedd, Porter Robinson) released a “free treat” to the public. This free treat can be found here. Below are 4 of my favorite songs from this collection of 19 amazing songs.

This song is a great example of complextro house. The second drop reminds me of earlier Skrillex and Porter Robinson (sigh… the good ‘ol days).

Chess Fight is not only currently my favorite song, but it brings me on a journey of a man who shows up to a chess-related event only to realize that he must fight to the death with swords. I adore the whole-minimalist synths in this song. The seconds drop brings a smile to my face every time.

The Juggernaut – Chess Fight (Original Mix) | Download (320 kbps)

This dubstep song has a happier note than Chess Fight. I like the clean, well rounded synths.

Flinch, Jamtech Foundation – Bad Boy feat. Jamtech Foundation (Original Mix) | Download (320 kbps)

This is easily the highest energy song in this entire OWSLA Treat. This Drum and Bass song makes me want to do exactly what the title suggests: KILL THE SILENCE! JUMP!

Zardonic, Bare Noize – Kill The Silence (Original Mix) | Download (320 kbps)
